‘3-5-2’ actor Ramin Nasser-Nassir has joined the cast of the new series ‘Tales of Kamal’ directed by Qodratollah Solhmirzaee and will appear in the series as an Indian doctor.
The series which is currently being filmed in Iran’s Ghazali Cinema Town has completed over 80 percent of the shooting and is being edited simultaneously.
Nasser-Nassir will be starring as an Indian doctor who starts a clinic and begins practicing in Iran, connecting with other main characters in various scenes from the series.
Saeed Asgari, another actor who recently joined the series along with Nasser-Nassir, will be starring as a teacher, with the two being the final additions in the first phase of the series.
Set in 1960s Iran, ‘Tales of Kamal’ is an adaptation from a novel of the same name written by Mohammad Mirkiani which the hero of the story is a teenager by the name of Kamal.
Produced by Mohsen Shayanfar, the film’s talented cast includes Mahmoud Pakniyyat, Shohreh Lorestani, Hamid Ebrahimi, Shahram Abdoli, Bijan Banafsheh-Khah, Felor Nazari, Ramin Nasser-Nassir, Saeed Asgari, and various teenage actors among others.
